Julià Mesquida, MSF

Mr. Mesquida has more than 10 years of finance and accounting experience across biotech, medtech and digital health companies, supporting organizations from early-stage R&D through commercial-stage operations. Prior to joining Ona Therapeutics, Mr. Mesquida served as Sr Director of Finance, FP&A and Controller at Mineralys Therapeutics, a Nasdaq-listed biotechnology company, where he supported the CFO and executive leadership across equity financing, business development, SEC reporting and compliance. During his tenure, he supported more than $800 million in equity financing initiatives, including IPO, PIPE, public offering and ATM structures.
Mr. Mesquida has also served as a part-time CFO and senior finance consultant to biotech companies, including as Vice President of Finance at SpliceBio, where he oversaw accounting, FP&A, budgeting, treasury and supported a €119 million Series B financing. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Mediktor, where he led the company from Series B financing through commercialization and international expansion, including the closing of a $15 million Series B financing. Prior to Mediktor, he served as Head of Finance at Sanifit Therapeutics, now a CSL Vifor company, where he led finance, accounting and tax matters and supported more than $100 million in equity financings as well as the company’s acquisition by Vifor Pharma, valued at up to $2 billion.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Mesquida held audit roles at Deloitte, where he worked with companies across healthcare, pharma and other sectors, including listed companies and companies preparing for IPO processes. Mr. Mesquida holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Balearic Islands, an International Business Certificate from Ulster University and a master’s degree in Audit and Superior Finance from Loyola Leadership University.
